Dr. Burton A. Moss
was born and raised in Portsmouth, VA. He received his BS
from Ohio State University. He graduated from the Medical
College of Virginia and then returned to Ohio State University
to complete his Internship and Residency in Pediatrics. He
served as a Fellow in Allergy and Immunology at National Children's
Hospital in Washington D.C., and is Board Certified in Allergy
and Immunology.
Before starting private practice, Dr. Moss served as a Lieutenant
Commander at Portsmouth Naval Hospital. He is onstaff at Children's
Hospital of Kings Daughters, bon Secours De Paul Hospital,
Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, and Sentara Leigh Memorial
Hospital. Dr. Moss is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics
at Eastern Virginia Medical School. He has had many articles
published regarding allergy and asthma treatment. He is married
with four grown children and seven grandchildren
Dr. Gary B. Moss
grew up in Norfolk, Virginia and attended Norfolk Academy.
He received a BA in Biology from the University of Chicago
and an MS in Human Physiology from Georgetown University.
He graduated from the Medical College of Virginia, where
he
also completed his Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine.
He served as a Fellow of Allergy and Immunology
at Barnes-Jewish Hospital and Washington University at the
St. Louis School of Medicine. He is Board Certified in Internal
Medicine and in Allergy and Immunology. Dr. Moss is on staff
at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, Sentara Leigh Memorial
Hospital, Bon Secours De Paul Hospital, and Chesapeake General
Hospital.
He is married and has three children.
Dr. Kenneth R. King
was born in Washington D.C. and raised in Alexandria, VA.
He received his BS from the University of Richmond, and then
went on to receive his M.D. from the Medical College of Virginia.
He remained there to complete his Internship and Residency
in Pediatrics. After serving two years in the Air Force, Dr.
King took a two year Fellowship in Allergy and Immunology
at National Children's Hospital in Washington D.C.
Dr. King is Board Certified in Allergy and Immunology and although not practicing general pediatrics, Dr. King is a Board Certified Pediatrician.
He is on the consultant staffs
of Riverside Regional Medical Center, Sentara Hampton General,
and Mary Immaculate Hospitals. He is married and has a daughter
and a son.
Dr. Craig Koenig
was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He received a
BS in Biological Science from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.
He graduated from the Medical College of Wisconsin. He completed an Internship
and Residency in Internal Medicine at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois.
Prior to Fellowship, Dr. Koenig worked as a Hospitalist in Waukesha, Wisconsin.
He served as a Fellow of Allergy and Immunology at Virginia Commonwealth University
in Richmond, Virginia. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Allergy and Immunology. He is a member of several academic honorary societies,
including Phi Beta Kappa and Alpha Omega Alpha. He presented abstracts at several
recent American Academy of Asthma Allergy and Immunology (AAAAI) meetings. Dr.
Koenig is on staff at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, Sentara Leigh Memorial
Hospital, Bon Secours De Paul Hospital, and Chesapeake General Hospital. He enjoys
literature and a variety of athletics.
Dr. Gregory G. Pendell
was raised in Saginaw, Michigan. He received his BS from Michigan State University and received his MD from the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. He completed his Residency in Internal Medicine at The Mayo Clinic Medical School and became Board Certified in Internal Medicine. Dr. Pendell served as a Fellow of Allergy & Immunology at Children's Mercy Hospital & Clinics in Kansas City, Missouri. He presented abstracts at the annual meetings of The American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology, the Society of Hospital Medicine, the Society of General Internal Medicine and the American College of Physicians. Dr. Pendell is Board Eligible and will sit for his Board Certification exam in Allergy & Immunology in October of 2008.
